Description

LM9044VX/NOPB is TI’s low‑power single‑cell Li‑ion battery gas gauge IC (LM904x family). It monitors pack voltage, current (via an external sense resistor), and temperature (NTC), and performs coulomb‑counting to estimate state of charge (SOC). An I2C‑compatible interface lets a host MCU read SOC, V, I, T, and status, and configure thresholds/calibration. It provides protection features (over/under voltage, overcurrent/short‑circuit, battery presence) and supports wake/sleep for low power.
